Equine Assisted Psychotherapy
Equine Assisted Psychotherapy is a chance to grow, and learn about yourself and others through experiential learning. By interacting with horses in explained activities, a client is given the opportunity to explore and identify behavior patterns, emotions, and personal reactions. Sessions are solution focused with an emphasis on real life application and family dynamics. This therapy is usually short term, and in addition to other clinical therapy.
Equine Assisted Growth & Learning
Individual one hour sessions, or one and two day retreats are available for anyone who wishes to relax in a quiet, country setting and explore a deeper understanding of themselves . Individual, couple, family, or group; clients can be part of a structured retreat, or a specially designed sessions with activities focused on a particular aspect /topic in their life. Interactions with horses are structured to reflect a self-learning experience rather than formal counseling.
Professional Development
Professional Development trainings focus on team development, problem solving, communication, and unique leadership. Activities with the horses give individuals opportunities to observe group dynamics, as well as their own personal ways of contributing to their work environment. This powerful training can produce results for groups seeking positive change, and “out of the box thinking” skills.
